چکیده
Abstract Ecological niche models have proved to be a powerful tool in assessing invasiveness risk of alien species, allowing the optimization control strategies. Vespa velutina (Hymenoptera: Vespidae) is an invasive species with strong ecological, economical and health impacts Europe after it was first reported France 2004. It detected for time on Mediterranean island (Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain) 2015, where single nest found northwest island. Immediately, plan implemented. In this study, we analysed 30 occurrence data Mallorca assess suitability distribution predicted conditions using ensemble small models. We obtained high values AUC (0.9165), Somers’ D (0.8331), Boyce (0.7611) TSS (0.7754) as quality parameters final ensembled model. show that there are suitable areas can expand stablish, mainly steeper slopes low isothermality zones. Likewise, V. other islands (Ibiza, Formentera, Menorca, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Crete Cyprus) also explored, showing potentially This study provides valuable information regarding under invasion, could used by both scientists managers early detection due its cost-effectiveness terms conservation.

The invasion, provenance and diversity of Vespa velutina Lepeletier (Hymenoptera: Vespidae) in Great Britain
The yellow-legged or Asian hornet (Vespa velutina colour form nigrithorax) was introduced into France from China over a decade ago. Vespa velutina has since spread rapidly across Europe, facilitated by suitable climatic conditions and the ability of a single nest to disperse many mated queens over a large area. Yellow-legged hornets are a major concern because of the potential impact they have ...

The establishment of a hornet, Vespa bicolor F., in Taiwan was confirmed based on successful field collection of adults of both sexes and two subterranean colonies. Information on nesting habitat, nest measurement, and colony composition of this species are provided in this article. V. bicolor is the ninth hornet species ever recorded from Taiwan. Possible pathway for the introduction of this a...
متن کاملSpecies distribution modelling of invasive alien species; Pterois miles for current distribution and future suitable habitats
The present study aims to predict the potential geographic distribution and future expansion of invasive alien lionfish (Pterois miles) with ecological niche modelling along the Mediterranean Sea. The primary data consisted of occurrence points of P. miles in the Mediterranean and marine climatic data layers were collected from global databases. All the used models run 100% su...
متن کاملa study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns
attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...
